Update: Stopped Sida+ and IHA but still using CT for the last 2 weeks. Things calmed down for a sec and then went nuts again so I decided to start Sida+ again and things are acceptable but not great. I will continue this course till I feel I can handle the IHA again. I have chalked up the feeling I had to more muscle loss which means weight loss. Why because the feeling comes from when muscle is breaking down, however when sick like this the body does not repair and make more muscle. Hi Randy!-
Thank you for giving us a update. As you probably know, I am not so knowledgeable with herbs. Maybe Traveler will have some ideas of different herbs to try.
How many times have you tried starting and stopping these herbs?
I don't want to push anything on you, but have you ever thought about trying to treat yourself for mold sensitivity? I remember you mentioning in other posts about living in an apartment or house that had mold issues.
From my understanding, even after you move away from a moldy environment, the mold can stay in your body. Just a thought.
Is that you in the picture??

Yes thats me from 7 years ago before I started treating lyme, now I look like death warmed over. I did have a muscle test for mold and it showed nothing. Ive started and stopped some herbs about 3x. The CT i take daily now was almost as hard for a few months but now I am at a higher dose so it may just be a i need to grind it out kinda thing. I think im seeing some benefit from the Sida+ but not totally sure yet. I will stick with this regimine for a while and see what happens. Then try and start IHA again.

Thank you for sharing your picture with us!
Are you a farmer? Looks like a very healthy crop you got there. Ha Ha Ha!! LOL! Just a little humor.
I usually tell people," I feel like death warmed over." They stare at me blankly because they don't know what to say back to me after that comment.
Thanks for sharing that you had muscle testing done for mold. I thought that a person had to have lab work done to see if they had mold sensitivities. I suppose there is more than one way of testing. I am pretty new to the whole mold thing.
That's good to hear that you are at a higher dose of CT, and that you might be getting some benefit from the Sida+. My fingers are crossed that this time will go better for you.
Please keep us updated!

Thank U! Yes I am a farmer, sorta lol. Ironically my family legacy is farming and I was unaware till recently. Growing cannabis gives me sense of accomplishment especially being homebound. I love to create. And I guess Im pretty good at it lol As far as muscle testing, I paid for 1 visit with a doc up here and he did it, which is the same doc that did my blood draw for Igenix which turned out very positive for Lyme. The muscle test said + for Babs,Bart,Myco,CPN & RMSF. So do I really have these? So far yes for Babs & Bart based on symptoms sooooo idk I dont have the money for blood or urine test for the co infections so I just have to treat like I have all of them. Side Note...I tested negative for mold but I was living in an apt that had at the very least small amounts of mold in it, when I did the test ansd had been living there for at least 1yr before the test.

Hi Randy!-
Congratulations on being a farmer! LOL! I grew up on a dairy farm. We didn't have any of those plants on our farm (that I know of). The cows would have had too much fun if they got into something like that.
Have you tried some of the cannabis for your Lyme and cos symptoms? I have read that some people found relief through using it. I'm happy to hear that it gives you a sense of accomplishment. That is something I am lacking at this time. I haven't worked since September 2014.
I hear ya on the whole testing for everything. I also tested positive for Lyme through Igenex. I was clinically diagnosed with Babs and Bart due to symptoms. A lot of these tests cost a lot of money and they still are not reliable.
If you are ever interested in looking into mold issues, Traveler posted a site to Buhner mold protocol in my thread on Mold. It is too soon for me to tell, but I think I am finally on the right track. Who knows, as everything can change in a heartbeat.
Through my whole journey so far, I have only had good luck with using A-Inflam (herbs for inflammation), Cholestyrimine (noticed so improvements), and now I started a nasal spray. I am starting to wonder if this mold thing was holding me back from Properly healing Lyme and cos.
I personally think that if our immune system is not functioning well due to Lyme and cos, this can open the door for other things to affect us like mold, candida, and parasites. I also know that we are all different and have different infections going on in our bodies. This whole disease is a guessing game.
Just my thoughts .

I'm interested in your thoughts on cannabis for Lyme treatment too, Randy. My oldest son (former addict ) assures me that there are medicinal strains that would really help me with joint pain. I don't think they're available in my state, but I've also heard from friends that CBD oil could really help too, and I think I can get that. Any thoughts on this?

Absolutely, cannabis has so many medical benefits its astounding. Since I havent been growing in about 4yrs I have not been able to fully utilize raw cannabis for Lyme but I will when my new grow is ready. This means juicing fresh material. I can say that when I vape canna concentrates it makes all my muscle issues act up including speech, like a herx. There is FB group strictly for cannabis and Lyme that Ive followed for a while now. In regards to diff strains, each person is different and its trial and error. I dont like Hemp CBD, must be from cannabis. Here is what cannabis can do...from GreenMedInfo

Hi Randy!-
WOW!!! Thank you so much for taking the time to share with us all the benefits of cannabis.
You mention that when you vape canna concentrates, you have a herx like reaction. Do you have any thoughts on what is going on to cause this reaction for you? I know that you mention that everyone reacts differently. I guess that I didn't know that people could herx on this.

I have a little experience with cannabis as well, but won't go into detail until it's legal and things are worked out in my state. What I can say is things that you can find online - sativa is not generally what we want/need. We want indica strains, or at least a hybrid that is mostly indica. Here is one that I was reading on this morning.... Leafly - Frankenstein With a name like that, I just had to see!!!! Some Lyme patients have greatly increased anxiety from THC, so if you are one of them - stick to the hemp cannabis with zero THC. And, I'm very much pro medical! The benefits (as Randy posted) are truly amazing!!!

Ive been growing cannabis for med & rec use since 2006'. Just before that I would get anxiety attacks when smoking like normal. Then it stopped for years even when smoking super sativas like Sweet Haze or Skunk#1. Then it started again back in 2014' out of nowhere and it was worse and at that point I knew something wasnt right. Ironically I would be dx with "ALS" 2yrs later and then positive for at least 6 bands of lyme. Now keep in mind Ive been a pothead most of my life. Now since I learned I have Lyme, before I moved I tried smoking it and woooo i thought I was gunna float of the earth anxiety. I started treating babesia and Lyme and now 9mo later it doesnt really happen much anymore. At least not nearly as bad. I know its a abx and a antiparasitic and possibly detoxifier but to sure yet. soooooo. I can tell u all about cannabis and how it grows and so on but how it works on Lyme, im still working on that cuz I know I have met other folks who herx when using it including some parents who have used with their kids infected with lyme. I know Girlie knows a couple few things about cannabis also as she grows to. PS: I grow mainly hybrids and I have a high CBD strain that tatse like honeysuckle lol

I've read a bunch of articles on how some people, even children, with different medical problems benefit so much from it. I just don't understand why something that has been deemed safer than a lot of pharma products can be considered so bad. What is up with our government? Oh, I'm not even going to start on that one!

Hi Randy!-
Thank you for sharing that what you feel is die off from using cannabis. Have other people on the FB cannabis/lyme experienced the same thing as you before they knew they had lyme? For example, when you mentioned that you use to get the normal anxiety when smoking, then nothing for years, then severe anxiety out of nowhere. That seems so weird.
But, since you mentioned cannabis is an antibiotic and antiparasitic this could be the reason for your reaction above. Especially if it was attacking Lyme and Babs like you said. WOW!
You got some that tastes like honeysuckle! Oh, that sounds good!
You should grow some that tastes like caramel!!!LOL!
Thank you for sharing your knowledge!

Thank you for sharing your knowledge! Yep some folks have had the same reaction. Different intake method but same reaction none the less. It was kind of a relief to find those folks. I thought I was going nuts for a while. lol
