See thats the thing I put 1 drop of IHA & 1 drop of Sida Plus into about 2cups of water and took a shot glass full everyday for a week(which is a uber small dose) and it hit me almost as hard as 1drop of each every other day. I stopped those herbs yesterday and can already feel not as bad. My load must be massive and any of those herbs are likely killing hard. Im gunna take at least a 1 week break and then just try the Sida+ and see what happens. Best of luck and do keep us posted!!!! Maybe you should incorporate some binders when you restart it?

Randy, I just want to tell you how amazed I am at all of your knowledge. You said you're not seeing an LLMD? How the heck do you know all of this stuff? I'm trying to learn, but I feel overwhelmed.

The one caution I have with Facebook groups is that many don't have a clue and are not researching or educating themselves, so do be careful. I'm in two Facebook Lyme groups, and one is location specific (but I used to stay in that area when hubby was working) and the other one I wouldn't really recommend to anyone. The amount of misinformation in that group is astounding.
Hopefully, Randy has some good suggestions!

I was SO happy to finally stumble upon HW and then to see yours. What people on here say makes sense to me. I'm not sure I really need a Facebook group, my sister-in-law raves about her cancer one. Hers is regional too, so she's able to actually meet them in person. There's a small group in my general area, but I'd have to drive there for about 40 minutes, and so far they've only met in the morning. I just can't pull that off right now. Think about it... a whole group of people with chronic Lyme. How will they get anyone who's well enough to actually show up? Lol!

So the Buhner protocol for Lyme disease and coinfections is your page, Randy? I'd like to join that one then!!! What about the other groups? Are they pages you created and run as well?
Alyeska - that's the way my state Lyme group is too. We all live too far apart to meet in person! I'm only just now to where I can spend most of one day out from the house.

A quick online search shows that many with C-diff use activated charcoal during the C-diff infection to help heal it. So I would say that it's safe, but do watch how much you use and be sure to keep it 2 hours away from all food, herbs. meds, supplements and anything else you want your body to absorb other than water -you want to drink more than enough water! Constipation is the most common side effect of using any binders, and constipation works against our efforts to detox, as it allows the toxins to be reabsorbed through the intestinal lining while the stool is 'waiting'. LOL. Sorry, wasn't sure how to say that!
LOL! I started on Facebook just to keep up with the kids - and wouldn't you know it, now they have moved on to texting and other things!!!! Although I do find Facebook helpful to keep up with other Lyme patients I have connected with and I do like to help out some in the groups.

I should join the 21st century and get on facebook.... Scott Be careful with Facebook! I joined ages ago because my husband did, and I have a bunch of friends on there that I would never friend now. I didn't realize how private I actually am. My husband went through and "unfriended" most of the people he knew on there because friends from college were tagging him in photos and stuff that were kind of weird for work colleagues to see. Just TMI, you know? Nothing terribly bad, just parties with beers in his hand and stuff, but enough to make him uncomfortable. Now they tag ME instead! Just know that you don't have to accept every friend request and that you can delete stuff from your timeline if you don't like it. Some people share way too much information. I also keep my settings on private since I've had a few creepers pull some stuff. I think most of the world is generally good, but then you'll get some random ones that probably shouldn't have your information, you know?

No to mention that work places can also take a look at your page and see what's posted on there and hold you accountable for it! Even if most of us don't work right now, it would be nice to be able to have that opportunity some day!!!

Update: Stopped Sida+ and IHA but still using CT for the last 2 weeks. Things calmed down for a sec and then went nuts again so I decided to start Sida+ again and things are acceptable but not great. I will continue this course till I feel I can handle the IHA again. I have chalked up the feeling I had to more muscle loss which means weight loss. Why because the feeling comes from when muscle is breaking down, however when sick like this the body does not repair and make more muscle.
