Hi, I have been on google searching these symptoms but have not really come up with anything.... Are these typical issues ? and which of the nasty tick bite bugs attack us in this way ? Also, when I speak for any length of time I feel exhausted and a great deal of discomfort in my esophagus, neck area ? Very odd sensation...
I found a chart online for symptoms of the several different bacteria and the potwassam virus and I could not find a real match...It is very frustrating.... Scott

Those are common. I exp all of them except the low oxygen sat issue when speaking. But I have soar throat today which I havent had in almost 8mo and used to get every other month or so and its only on 1 side of my throat, same side every time which is my right. All these pathogens invade almost every cell in our bodies and manipulate every function of our bodies.

Bartonella can cause a 'sore throat' feeling - but so can our lymph nodes. Sometimes it's not until we go feeling around our throats that we begin to realize that the soreness isn't on the inside, but due to the swollen lymph nodes. I suggest dry skin brushing and lymph massages to start with and if that's not enough, then the addition of red root is usually enough (combined with the massages and dry skin brushing) to really help reduce the size of the lymph nodes. Neuro Lyme can infect the nervous system, which would include the nerves around the face and neck (not to mention the rest of the body), and they can produce the feeling of a raw or irritated throat as well. My throat used to feel kind of sore when I would get tonsil stones too: Tonsil stones As for trying to figure out exactly what infection is causing our ______ issue, that can be nearly impossible at times, as there is so much overlap with symptoms and - as Randy said - all of these pathogens invade nearly every cell in our bodies and manipulate the function of many aspects of our body. Even the bone marrow can be affected. And, that's the end of my brain on that! LOL!

I sometimes feel like I have something stuck in my throat, about half way down. All sorts of "interesting" symptoms. I kinda wish I would have kept a notbooke over the years. haha.

That's a little hard to answer, as 'flu symptoms' can be vague. If you have that soreness, it could be inflammation, so anti-inflammatories would likely be helpful (long term project). If you have nausea, more ginger tea. If you have issues with your digestion, depending on what exactly, we have suggestions. Fever, then you need to take a fever reducer like ibuprofen. May help with the achiness too.
So. if you will let us know exactly which symptoms you are talking about, I bet you would get a lot of suggestions!

I'd say, first be aware that with the colder temps, most of us retreat indoors and turn on heaters. They dry out sinuses and can cause some discomfort, or even congestion (that's what I usually deal with when the heaters come on for the season). The rest could easily be explained by Bartonella, so if you don't have a cold/flu, that's likely what's going on. The cranial nerves can get quite irritated, as well as the vagus nerve - cranial nerves are, of course, in the head and create a feeling of pressure, and the vagus nerve can cause all sorts of issues from the throat on down into the intestines. And the chest and rib soreness can be what is known as costochondritis, which is also from Bartonella: "Costochondritis is an inflammation of the junctions where the upper ribs join with the cartilage that holds them to the breastbone, or sternum. The condition causes localized chest pain that you can reproduce by pushing on the cartilage in the front of your ribcage." costochondritis symptoms You might find this listing of the infections and their symptoms helpful: A deep look at the symptoms of 6 major Lyme related infections
