Hi guys, I saw in another post something about eaither making this forum mobile friendly or it already being mobile friendly... is there something special I have to do to make things easier?
I only have access to internet on my phone, so I'll take all the help I can get..
I'm still trying to figure out how to navigate the forum itself... anyway, I'm not trying to complain about the forum, I guess it's fairly straightforward- I'm not very good with technology though, so I just figured that if there's a way to make it easier that's definitely something I should try...

Hi Casa! To be honest, I had to check it out on my phone(very first smart phone for me! Lol!) to know what you are seeing! I'm usually on a laptop or tablet. The phone is definitely different!
The site is already mobile friendly, and i dont believe any adjustments can really be made, but to tell the truth, I really dont know much about that. I did choose this site for my forum partly because it was already mobile friendly.
Please do try to use the forum, as we have some awesome members here, but you can email me directly as well if you think I can be of help and thats easier for you.

Awesome ! Thanks Traveler! I do like the forum, seems like people here are really great.
Glad I found you! I had noticed you weren't on HW much but didn't realize you'd started your own...
Anyway, I'm sure I'll get used to it... thanks again !

We are very happy to have you here!!! But, of course, we don't ask for anyone's "allegiance" lol! You can post on as many Lyme forums as you wish! And, I'm happy you went looking and found me too!!!

You should see a tab on the bottom of the screen - that says "Mobile version" or maybe it just says "Mobile"
Click on that.

Hi Girlie, would it possibly say 'dashboard or desktop?' That's all I'm seeing so far... I've been wondering what that means, but didn't want to mess with it until I know...

Well, mine said something Mobile - I am using an iPhone - maybe it's different depending on your phone. but Desktop means a computer - not something mobile. not sure what Dashboard means.

Hey Girlie, I just got brave & tried to quote part of your previous post- I don't know what I did- just a warning there may be a partial quote of yours floating around the forum in some odd place... sorry. Anyway, I also have an iPhone, so I'll keep looking for the mobile tab, maybe it automatically set it up that way?? I don't know... Thanks for the advice though. One of these days I am going push the " dashboard " button just for fun ...

Yes, type under the quoted stuff - or your answer gets left in with the quote.
I wish I could be of more help, I just got a smart phone, but it's not an iphone. And - I'm brand new to smart phones!! Ha ha ha!! So, I'll stay out of this conversation, unless I can add helpful bits like above.

Hi Girlie, would it possibly say 'dashboard or desktop?' That's all I'm seeing so far... I've been wondering what that means, but didn't want to mess with it until I know... So now that I'm on mobile friendly - it doesn't show it anymore. Now it shows Desktop. So, if yours' is showing Desktop - then you most likely are in the mobile friendly mode.

The only thing that I'm having trouble with on this forum is that when I go to reply to a post & exit the thread to go onto the reply screen , I can no longer see the post/s im trying to reply to... I usually can't remember what I'm trying to reply to, so I go back to re-read & when I return to the 'reply' screen whatever I had begun to write is gone... is this just how it is?
Or is there a way around this? Besides quoting the person I'm replying to ?
I guess it's a good brain workout , if nothing else... Haha π

It won't harm a thing to use it every time! That way at least it's in front of you! That's what I'm doing today, unless I only wanted to say just a few words to help make sure I'm remembering things correctly.
