Hi all, The abridged version of my journey thus far!
I am English, but have lived in Greece (on Rhodes) for almost 11 years. I caught Lyme and Bart after being bitten by a tick as a dog groomer in 2013, and even after developing an EM rash (that was misdiagnosed) it took several silly doctors and 18 months to get diagnosed. Don't ask me about this unless you have plenty of time, or are really, really bored, LOL!!
Just FYI, we don't have Lyme in Greece as ticks aren't allowed across the borders, unless you ask a vet here who'll tell you the exact opposite!
I was diagosed as having Lyme by a ID doc in the UK (at the RVI) and told to get some gentle exercise and counselling. Helpful. Not.
I saw a private doc in mid 2014 in the UK and began Rife treatment and Buhner's protocol, which I have been doing ever since. I have basically been treating myself. I had a treatment 'set back' after a very, very unplanned pregnancy and had to cutback some and take a break from the rifing. I now have an almost two year old!
To date I am doing great, good, terrible and downright ugly, depending on when you ask me, lol! Some of this is perfectly normal for the 'keeper' of a small 'monster', some of it is most certainly Lyme related, and some of it is big ugly external stressors which are being somewhat unruly at the moment, LOL!!
OK, that's probably enough about me!!! It's really nice to be here and I hope that I get to know you all better here very soon!!!

Hey Sillysheep! I'm so very happy you and I have reconnected!
And if you feel comfortable doing so, share some pictures of that beautiful boy that's so full of orneriness!
I know you've been through the dredges with at least some of your symptoms, so you can offer sympathy and suggestions on the things that helped you. We really do look forward to having you paeticipate when you can!
Much love to you and that little one!
