I sure started this forum at the wrong time in my life! While hubby's surgery went very well, and his recovery is going better than expected, I had a series of events that set me up to not do well. And it's those things that have kept me from doing what I would like to on this forum - posting a ton of information that I have! So, my apologies for not being in a good place to have started this project.
I am not going to give in though! I am continuing to fight to get back to 'solid ground' with my health and get this forum rocking with information and any help that we can offer each other.
Thank you so very much to those that have continued to come here and post or check in.....waiting. LOL!
I will also start 'advertising' this forum more, to hopefully bring in new forum members from other places. (I had such big plans for this site! LOL!)
So, once again, thank you for hanging in there with me!!!

Dont apologize lol its ok. Im in the same spot. Im starting 2 new websites and a biz down the road and Ive been set back by increased symptoms which has slowed me down a lot. Plus we have one confirmed kid with lyme and possibly the other 3 based on symptoms and we are expecting a baby in Jan/Feb which will no doubt have lyme, babs, bart and myco. Ive started 2 kids on Chronic Tonic already.

Oh wow, Randy!!! You really do have your hands full!!! So you are about to be the proud father of 5, right? Congratulations on that! Although I'm very sorry that they all seem to have these infections. What a heartache! But, now you know what is likely going on with their health and you are on the ball at helping them regain their health!
Did they start off on the CT well? Lots of herxing? Did you lower the dose for them according to their weight as Buhner suggests? Sorry, I'm full of questions! LOL! Is your wife in treatment at this time?
Please do be sure to let us know how things go!
We just can't help it when life gets busy!!! Best of luck on your business adventures!!!!

Hi Traveler!-
Please, no need to apologize. Having Lyme teaches us all many lessons. One of them being, a lot of things don't ever go as planed!
Here is another life lesson: I was suppose to only take antibiotics for 1 month and be cured! LOL!!!!!

Yes I am doing 1 drop every other day for the 2 boys along with charcoal. No the wifey is not treating since she is prego. She was on CT with me but stopped. The boys are not herxing yet from what I see but I am herxing like a muther and trying to dial it down. I started getting carried away for a couple weeks then it hit me so Im trying to ease up a lil. The wifey seems to be in denial that the girls have it,idk. It seems like she doesnt want to admit it but knows its a fact and doesnt want to tell the girls that the boys have it. I personally think my son got it from me a while ago before I knew I had it. The 2yr old got it from birth because of his dad having it so the wifey got it that way also. And i think the girls got it from the wifey via saliva like my son or I have had it so long that I passed on during conception. IDK.

I wish your wife would consider some kind of treatment. That's too bad. Will the girls start treatments soon? I hope so. I do worry about the kids, as I was one growing up with these infections as well. At least you are doing well with the boys! I hope some good progress is made with each of you and soon!!

idk what to do about the girls. I have a feeling she will want a blood test of them just to treat which is expensive. The 2yr old had a bulls eye rash show up a couple weeks ago from what looked like a sqeeter bite but I think it was reaction not an initial. Heck it could have been an additional bite for all I know. As far as the wifey goes, she has some of the same symptoms I do which were attributed to "ALS" initially. But the odds of us having the same unknown disease that there is no known cause for and no treatment for is impossible. Obviously I have since learned "ALS" is a lie to cover up Lyme. Plus she is scared to treat while prego since most herbs have contraindications while prego. My hope is that the baby will not die between now and 1yrs old or be severely debilitated and have malformation of organs or body parts due to infection.

No problems Traveler, we all understand what it is to go through lyme and then the family health problems! But you are on the right track and doing very well. I tell people that email me about the site! I tell them that u just started it. I think the site has taken off and has a great bunch of people here! We are all Lymies and understand what it does to u,esp stressed out!
Randy! O my gosh you have your hands full! big hugs! Wishing you lots of luck with your business, as I told Traveler, It takes us Lymies a little longer to get it together! With all you have going on, I don't know how u do it!
One thing about all us, we have a lot of determination to move on and try our best to do our best
BIG HUGS TO ALL!

Just curious, but have you asked your wife if she would talk to a highly trained herbalist about taking herbs while pregnant? I know that some have done this. I would want to talk with Julie McIntyre from Buhner's book, as she is the only one that I have heard really good things about if I was in your wife's position. Otherwise, it's just one step at a time. We can't take on the world, but we can get through these things. I hope that your wife's pregnancy goes well and that there are no issues or complications for her or the baby! It's possible. And, thank you for all of your very kind words! I feel so bad about having started this, then not being able to be as active as I had planned! You all are absolutely the best!!!

No I have not asked her that. We have been overwhelmed with the move and then seeing the bullseye rash on the 2yr old. I think she is just scared to do anything when prego. Which I kinda dont blame her a lil. I went from just me having it to her having then now it seems I see symptoms in all of us.

Although my 2 kids did not get these diseases from me while I carried or nursed them, I was one very sick pregnant lady! And I'll admit to be very, very scared during all of that! I wasn't trying to find out what was wrong with me back then, but now that I know, it all makes a lot of sense - but going through that was very difficult - so my heart goes out to your wife as well as any other women that are pregnant and have these infections.
When is the baby due? I so hope that labor and delivery go well!!
Are you planning on having the cord blood tested, in case it reveals something?

Idk about cord testing(money). The baby is due end of Jan early Feb. Dr appt is next week. She has to have a C-Section since other kids were delivered that way.
