Well, for me it is! LOL! My hubby's neck surgery will be happening this Friday, so I won't be around much for a few days before this and for about a week or so after, as I will be doing what I can to take care of hubby and myself.
I know I just started this site (so sorry!), but we have been playing the waiting game for the last 6 months for this surgery. Murphy's law strikes again! I get tired of waiting for one thing, start another, just to have everything happen at once! LOL! At least this time it's all good things!!!
I'll check in just as often as I can - and I know that you all are kind to others, and will help each other out. Thank you for that! :)

I LOVE your avitar, LB!!!
And thank you! I likely won't be on a lot over the next 2 weeks just for that purpose. I'm mostly concerned about my adrenals though - the rest I can deal with (I hope. LOL!).

Yes, I am concerned about your adrenals also. You have had such a rough time with trying to heal them.
I wish there was a way that I could take all this stress away from you. Please remember to be kind to yourself also.
Best Wishes!

Aw! Thank you Little Bear!!! I promise to do my very best to take care of myself, and whine to you all! Lol! I have extra adrenal meds and herbs that I'll be adding in if/when I feel the need. I've gotten pretty good at knowing when to do that finally! It will take some time for all of us to get the hang of working with this new layout, but I can move posts if need be and we have more leeway on what we post for advocacy and even selling unused herbs and things like Rife machines and such. I'm really excited for the potentials this will give us! Another thing is that this site is supposed to do well with mobile devices too!

Thank you!! The surgery went REALLY well! He is in less pain now than when we went up for the surgery, his balance is much improved, and he has likely gained up to an 1/2 inch in height! Odd thing though - we confirmed that he is one of a small group of people that have a bad reaction to the anesthesia and meds that are usually given after major surgery. His attitude/tolerance for much of anything is gone, cranky and generally miserable. The Surgeon's PA said that now they now this about him, and will work to alleviate this situation if he has to have surgery on his lumbar spine. Not sure just what he means, but I chose to not worry about it unless hubby has to have lumbar surgery later this year. One thing at a time, thank you! LOL!

I am so happy to hear that the surgery went well!!!! How wonderful to hear that he is already in less pain and has visible improvements!
Sorry to hear about his negative experience with the anesthesia. I have heard about this happening to some people. But like you said, at least they know how he reacts to certain anesthesia and can adjust if he ever needs surgery in the future.
Sending many (((HUGS!))) to both of you!

I'm also happy to hear that your hubby's surgery went well! I wonder what the ingredients are in general anesthesia? Many, many years ago I had lots of surgeries and was told it was a super strong dose of valium.. maybe things have changed since then?
Anyway, wishing your hubby a speedy recovery which I know he will have since he has you!!
