Hi all!!! I want to wish each and every one of the members here a very happy Thanksgiving! I know that at times (especially when we are herxing through a holiday), we don't really feel grateful - but most of us have likely gotten pretty good at faking it! :/ I will be going down to my daughter's and her fiance`s house for Thanksgiving and spending 2 nights down there! YAY!!! They are such a busy couple between work and play that we don't get to spend a lot of time with them, so this is a real treat! We will also get to spend time with my stepdaughter, her hubby and their 3 sons on Friday! The other two kids are out of town themselves. I am so very thankful for each and every member here - without you, our cozy little group would be incredibly small! So thank you for building this forum with me!!! You are all very special to me. And, on that note, here's a funny for you: Thanksgiving song/funny May we each find a few things we are thankful for.

Thanks for being so thoughtful Traveler (as you always are)! Also, your card is sooooooo funny!
I also wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving and for those who are not feeling well my heart goes out to you. Please don't try to push yourselves and allow yourself to rest even through the Holidays.. You deserve that!
Picking up a fresh turkey this morning for my Mom and myself.. Yeah I love turkey and even though it's just the two of us I will stuff it and make all the trimmings as I enjoy doing that...
Hope this card works:

Happy Thanksgiving to you, Trav and Denise, and to everyone in the group! I will be "herxing through the holidays," as I just started a new Rx and am trying to find the right dose. It's difficult to put on a happy face when you're ill. My mother-in-law makes that hard enough when I'm feeling well! This Thanksgiving/Christmas, I know some of our family will be wondering, "how can she still be dealing with this after a year? Will she ever get well?" Who can truly understand this disease unless they've had to walk (stumble or crawl) through it? For that reason and more, I am so thankful for everyone here. You're such amazing sources of support! You inspire me with your perseverance, and I appreciate your kindness more than I can say. Hope you enjoy time with your loved ones, Kelly

Thanks!
Wishing you all a Happy Thanksgiving also! Hope you all have the best possible holiday.
Kb69 , you aren't alone. Unless there is a miracle ( which I'm still hoping for...) I'll be herxing along with you... so I will hope for miracles for both of us, and anybody else who's feeling bad on turkey day...
It can be so hard to deal with family pressures & trying to put on a 'good face' during the holidays... I'm trying not to let it stress me out though... haha!
Still haven't decided if I'll be up to seeing family for thanksgiving or not. My father is having a giant get together at his house- talk about overwhelming! And then There's the added stress of transportation... I hate not being able to drive myself , and also worry that I'll feel bad & need to leave before my ride is ready....
But was also invited to a neighbors house - like literally 2 houses away, and that might be the best I can do... or I might just stay home!
All that said, I still have a lot to be grateful for... including you guys! Thanks so much for all the support & info & general positivity you guys always provide. Wishing you all the best...
Ps. Thank you Traveler for starting this forum! And to everyone who participates ...It's always warm & friendly here! ( as well as informative etc!)

Hi everyone!-
Happy Thanksgiving!
Thank you for the cards Traveler and Denise! LOL! Very cute and funny, something I needed today.
I am not looking forward to Thanksgiving. At first, my husband and I discussed going to his moms house for Thanksgiving. This way I wouldn't have to worry about how clean the house was, cooking a meal, and to be able to leave when/if I had to.
Well, I noticed that he was doing "extra" cleaning around the house last week. I knew that something was going on that I didn't know about. He told me that we were going to have his mom here for Thanksgiving! UGH!!! I love his mom, she is very nice and understanding of what I am dealing with. But sometimes it is soooooo hard to constantly pretend that you are doing "ok" when you feel like absolute dog poo!
This will be interesting. My husband said that he will take care of everything. WE are keeping it very simple. Turkey breast in slow cooker, and the usual overload of carbs and sodium. Let's just say a lot of instant box mixes will be used. LOL!
Sending many ((((HUGS!)))) to those that will be struggling through the holiday.

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone here. Please take time to rest and take good care of yourselves during this busy holiday.
Even though we struggle with symptoms and treatments and other issues on a daily basis, there is still plenty to be thankful for. Like hope ....and faith that we will get better.
Take care, Jo

I hope everyone had a nice Thanksgiving and herxing was at a minimum!
Ours was in October (Canadian) - so today was nothing special at our house.

Hey LB, My husband volunteered to have Thanksgiving here for my entire family! XD It was exhausting, and I got stressed out trying to clean and shop, but he did most of the food shopping and cooked everything. The kids helped clean, so even though the house isn't up to par, at least it's cleaner than it was before Thanksgiving! I herxed a little over the weekend, but my main problem right now is vanity. I have the worst case of acne on my chin from die off, and I look like a leper even with make up covering it. I never even got acne this bad when I was a teenager! (Sigh.) I hope your holiday was better than you expected and not too stressful.
