Hi guys.
So I just started taking lauriciden on Friday night/ early sat am. Probably took it around 2-4 am. Took 1 pellet. By 11am on Saturday I was crashed out. Slept all afternoon- but not necessarily what I'd consider sleep. More like my body just shut off.
Reminded me of the kind of extreme fatigue & immobility I would get prior to diet change & herbs etc.
Also increased joint & muscle pain etc.
Since then, ive just been more fatigued& weak than usual & my pain is definitely worse . I've also had a increase in numbness & tingling etc. ( which had been really bad throughout, but had reduced some over past month- so maybe it's not really an INCREASE so much as a DECREASE - in the reduction... ? Haha... )
My llmd told me to take it 2x a day & increase by 1 pellet each day, ( up to a full scoop 2x a day) which would mean I should be doing 3-4 pellets 2x today. But I've just been sticking with 1 pellet 2x a day since starting, since I've definitely been feeling it. It's tolerable right now, but I'm afraid much more wouldn't be.
Of course, im also taking doxycycline & herbals & homeopathics & EOs & other stuff, so even though these symptoms increased since beginning lauriciden, it could be something else ( or a combo) etc.
Do any of you guys have experience with lauriciden/ monolaurin ?
Also, do you think I should be increasing dosage as quickly as the llmd suggested? I feel like it's way to fast, but I don't know...

How fast to increase the dosage of any of these things is up to the patient, and how they are handling it. In your case, I think you are doing well with what you are taking at this point! Increase as tolerated is all.
I use coconut oil, not the extract of lauriciden/monolaurin.
It's likely that it's killing off something like candida, or it could be helping with something else - but the increase in your symptoms says herx, so treat it like a herx. Go slow, detox lots and only raise it as tolerated.
I hope it settles down quickly so you can enjoy Thanksgiving!!!
