Hey LB!
I think ideally Ca4 is tested along with the other tests, but seeing your doc is already treating you for CIRS, I don't know if it is necessary at this point. My doc has told me the TGF beta being doesn't necessarily point to CIRS as the inflammation could theoretically come from another source, but my gut tells me if you have lots of other factors, then it probably points to CIRS.
Unsure of the columns you mention - sorry!
I would definitely take a probiotic, not necessarily because of BEG specifically but because it is so important to strengthen and protect your gut.
Hope this helps,
Mike

Oh, no, I must have not said that correctly. My doctor is not treating me for CIRS. I thought since I have a high TGF-beta1....... this meant that I have CIRS? No worries, you answered my question when you said, " My doc told me the TGF doesn't necessarily point to CIRS as the inflammation could come from another source." But like you said that if you have lots of other factors, then it probably points to CIRS.
Thank you for letting me know to take a probiotic! I forgot to ask my doctor.
You have been a great help to me!
Thank YOU!
