Bungee is the Beagle/black lab mix. We named him Bungee because he literally bounces everywhere! He can jump higher than any dog I’ve ever seen. He is a GOOFBALL!!! He bays like a beagle and acts more like a beagle than a black lab. (I’ve had both.) Mia is our little old lady who is a black lab/corgi/Australian cattle dog mix. The glasses suit her because she likes to round up other dogs, especially Bungee if he’s not coming when we call! She definitely has the intense Australian cattle dog personality. She’s like a little old school marm at the moment, and she likes to know where I am every minute of the day. They’re both pretty high energy, so luckily we have a few acres with an invisible fence around it for them to explore. Oh, I love them so much!

Mia has her little white beard now. Her face used to be all black. Bungee looks so dang guilty in the second pic! He wasn’t even in trouble then. I think he pounced on me right after that. Maybe that look is him plotting... He looks so happy with his duck. He tears his toys to shreds in a very short time! We got him a soccer ball for dogs that was supposedly unpopable. Nope! He did it and then started tearing it to shreds too. It did last a couple of months though. Here’s Mia all swaddled up by my youngest son. Those dogs let him do anything to them! It’s the funniest thing. Maybe I have a future vet on my hands.

Your furbabies are adorable! I raised my kids with a Golden Lab and a Pit Bull - they were absolutely wonderful dogs that watched over my kids like hawks while they ran and played outside. Boy, I haven't thought of them in several years. Thank you for those happy memories!! I'll have to see if I can dig up a couple of pics of hubby's little JRT that LOVES to tear up everything as well - well, when she was younger. She hasn't torn up anything in the last 8 or so years. LOL. Poor old gal!! She's 14 now.

Here’s sweet Mia again! She is very camera shy, so it’s rare to get a good photo of her. She usually puts her ears down if she sees a camera, so you can’t get a good look at her silly corgi ears. I just love this dog so much! She and and I are just two tired, little old ladies who like to nap.
