So, it's driving me sort of nuts to have to scroll down to see where I left off reading in any given topic/thread - but I may have found a solution! There is a "flip thread" plug in I can install, which basically just reverses the order of the posts - last/newest becomes the first post at the top.
What do you all think? Do we want to try it? I can remove it if it's too confusing or hard to deal with for us.

Hmmmm.... tricky question! I guess as long as we're all keeping up with the threads it would make sense. I have noticed it is a pain to have to scroll down.... down.... down.....
I don't know... I'm up for trying something new. I have wished i could reverse the order individually at times...

Hi, That's a good idea....My c diff forum is designed that way as well.... For me, it is easier to give everyone a full reply with the flipped thread. I have a terrible memory.....That's my 2 cents... Scott

It's up to you. I just wish I got email notifications when someone responds. I feel like I'm so clueless about this stuff sometimes. (Not just the Lyme... the computer stuff too!)

Okay, so I did the "flip thread" thingy!! For anyone that finds it too confusing, post here, please! That way we can see who's having issues and who isn't -and help those that are having troubles, or just put it back to the way is has been so far. I *think* I'll be doing that today. It all depends on if I can figure it out or not! LOL Fingers crossed!!! As for getting emails for new posts, the only thing I can see is getting an email about all new posts or all new threads - which can be found in your profile. For those that aren't sure how to get to your profile, click on your name above your avatar (picture to the left of your posts). I'm signed up for all new posts, all new threads - but you may not wish to do that. Good thing that we can change those options as often as we wish!! LOL! Oh- and be aware that the pages now work "backwards" as well. I sat here trying to get to a previous page to re-read the post a few times before I realized this!! Ha ha ha!!! oh the joy!!!

Ha Ha HA!!! LOL!!!
Maybe it's just me , is everything flipped? For example: Is page 1 now what would have been page 3?
I am having some confusion. But, I guess that isn't any thing new with me.
No worries, I'll figure this out! LOL!!!
Just like when I was trying to become a member here. I Failed the "I am not a robot" part when signing up. LOL!!

LB, read my post (just below yours) - I was a bit confused too!!! LOL! And I'm the one that's supposed to know this!! Bwahahahahaha!! Oh well, never boring!!!
And yes, the most recent page with the most recent posts will now be considered page 1. As if we weren't easily confused before!!! Sorry! I hope this works out! I can always change it back (I think?? - haven't tried it yet! LOL!)

Oh, thank God there are some other goofy people on here like me who aren't afraid to admit it! Please, please, please tell me if I'm doing something really annoying or not acceptable in forums. The only other forum I've ever been on is Backyard Chickens, and that's usually just for fun! (Seriously, just go look at a thread called "chicken math" on there. It's hilarious to chicken people like me.) Here I worry that I could really hurt someone's feelings or be doing something that is against internet etiquette and drives people crazy. Most people just seem to know what's going on most of the time, but I feel clueless the majority of the time. Usually I'm lost in all of the Lyme terms I don't know, and I forget so many things now. Healing Well is great, but I get very lost there even though I've studied the abbreviations post. Traveler has been so nice, making it clear that there are no stupid questions here! I've noticed that a lot of my favorite people on HW are here which makes it very comforting. Thanks for making me laugh, Little Bear!

Alyeska, I think we can help you learn what you need to about Lyme and about forum etiquette here. We are pretty open and if someone - anyone - does get offended or put off, they can message me and I can have a talk with the 'offender' and get it straightened out. The most common cause for someone being put off or offended is usually just a misunderstanding usually -especially if you don't see others saying 'I don't think it was meant that way' or other things to help diffuse the situation. Some people "live off of strife" - but I don't, and I need there to be a place I can go without a lot of it - and that's how this forum will be run. I'm sure there are others out there that have no desire for more strife in their life, and would like a place to learn and find support -and it's those people that I welcome with open arms here. Those wishing to only cause strife will not be tolerated. Disagreements and misunderstandings happen - but strife we can control!! So - any time there are questions about what we are talking about - even if you don't believe it actually applies to you, but you are curious - please post and ask your questions!!! If anyone has any issues with what another member has posted, I WANT you to message me!!! Tell me what happened and why you felt slighted or feel it was inappropriate - but do be prepared to work it out with the other person! We are all adults here and should be able to work out our differences.

I'm glad that I was able to make you laugh! LOL! It feels so good to laugh when we are able to.
I grew up on a farm when I was younger. We had chickens. Not the fancy and pretty ones like seen on Backyard Chickens, just the common white chickens. My Grandma would sell the eggs.
Please know that there are no stupid questions here. There is soooo much to learn and constantly learn. And we are all learning while being sick.
There is so much that I don't know or that I did know, but forgot about it.
Just keep asking questions. This is how we all learn.

So, is this working out for everyone okay, now that we've had a bit of a chance to get used to it? Any other things with the forum operation that I *might be able to help with? LOL! I'm still learning too, and may or may not know what to do without having to research it!

Hey guys, so I was wandering around the forum today & all of a sudden noticed a bunch of changes. Kinda hard to explain... but my screen has a lot more stuff on it at once & there's more options & I don't know ... just more stuff ! Since im on my phone, things got really little, but I still like it! It also seems all the posts are reversed again? Is this everyone or did I do something to make my screen like this? also, what is shouting/ shout box?

I'm not sure what all you may be seeing as far as the changes go - I've changed a couple of things (like the LOL button next to the thumbs up button), but not a lot. From what I see on my laptop, every time I go to a thread to read/respond, the threads "flip" - so it's an action that takes place for each thread, every time. The shout box is just for a short message to the general members - saying hi, asking a question (not much though, as most of our questions really need a full thread), or just announcing a birthday, or other celebration event.
