Hi all. Glad to be here. My tv watching is simple...anything that isn't scary or needing much attention to detail.
Little People Big World
You Got Mail (constant re-runs)
Kate Plus 8
Sleepless in Seattle (again constant re-runs)
Psycho (couldn't help myself...scared the heck out of me)
Married at First Sight
Morning news programs (now that will scare you)
Have to figure out to add an image to my post

I wanted to comment on this post - but not sure how to add something...without it putting it inside the quote.

Look for the "end quote" (like it was on healingwell) brackets in the draft when you quote another post - then post below that.

Several months ago, I watched the whole series of Mad Men on Netflix.
I think I liked it, but I can't remember a lot of it. Oh, the fun of brain fog!

Hi all ... I've watched bloodline 3 times, I love it so. And I put it on to fall asleep. I've got it memorized. Blue bloods is next on the list. Glad to be here. I feel like I just walked into a new bar and ran into some old friends. Purrrsiankitty - We loved it - until about half-way through the last season... we thought it went downhill....

If someone would have told me when The Walking Dead came out that I would be watching it I would have said "NO WAY", I don't like anything with gore in it. Well my bestest friend is addicted to that show and talks about it all the time so I finally took the plunge and started watching it. I am now addicted to that show. I still have to look away at gory scenes but I really like the storyline and the main characters... Wow, I am shocked at myself!!

LOL! Same here, Deejavu!!! Hubby LOVES The Walking Dead - and the spin offs of it. I finally gave in and started watching The Walking Dead (the original) and am hooked too!!!
We have been watching another series I didn't think I'd like either though - Reign. It's a historical drama about Mary Queen of Scots, and I'm a direct descendant of hers, so that may have some weight behind me liking the series.
We have also watched Madame Secretary, and really enjoy that as well.
We have spent a lot of time watching tv with me being sick and hubby being disabled - but that's about to change! YAY!!!!(I think! LOL!)

Wow, that's really cool! I'm still playing catchup with the walking dead on Netflix and I'm finally up to Season 6. Thanks for telling me about Reign, that's so awesome that you are a direct descendant of Mary Queen of Scots, wow-wee!
I don't know how much time I will have to watch TV as my Mom was discharged last night from rehab but I'm bringing her home this morning because we had bad thunder storms last night.. I can't watch the Dead in front of my Mom, she would freak out! LOL!
Hope your husband is doing better! Sending healing thoughts your way...

How about NCIS? I love all of those shows. I do watch Blue Bloods, loved that, but I am madly in love with Tom Selleck! giggle I love detective shows. I also watch Pit bulls and Paroles, I love the animal planet and most of the shows on there. I don't watch shows that I have to continue watching ( series) .. I always fall asleep and lose out on it. Love HGTV shows. Ghost hunter type shows. Love watching The Chew. I watch alot of the pickers.

Oh, yeah! I'm a NCIS fan as well!!!
We record nearly every show so we can stop them any time for any reason!

Good documentaries I've seen recently, for those who are into them:
The Flying Scotsman: A Rail Romance (about a special train engine in the UK; found this one on Amazon)
Is Genesis History? (found this one on Netflix)
Idaho The Movie (Amazon) - I haven't watched this one yet, but Hubby says it's got a lot of beautiful scenery and is good.
Other movies I've enjoyed:
Marvel Cinematic Universe films (The Avengers, Iron Man, etc.; although I did not like Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2)
The Queen (2007 movie)
That Darn Cat (comedy)
The Cat from Outer Space (comedy)
Moana (Disney movie)
Beauty and the Beast
Jason Bourne movies
Mission Impossible movies
Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home
Star Trek: The Next Generation movies 1-3
"Star Trek" (2009 reboot), and the two sequels
Lord of the Rings Trilogy
Jack Ryan movies (based on Tom Clancy novels)
Star Wars movies
Some of the Pixar movies - "Cars," "Monsters, Inc.," "The Incredibles," etc.
"Ice Age" movies 1 & 2 (not so fond of the sequels)
Arrival (2016)
Fantastic Voyage
Back to the Future
Contact
I.Q. (comedy)
The Last Starfighter
Sneakers
TV:
Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
Blue Bloods
Star Trek: The Next Generation, Star Trek: Voyager, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine
White Collar
Royal Pains
Flashpoint
Numb3rs
I used to enjoy Law & Order reruns, and Law & Order: SVU, but have since lost interest...the episodes of SVU without Christopher Maloni's character aren't nearly as good, IMHO.

Did anyone else watch Big Little Lies?
It was really good...and Nikole Kidman won an award for it...and what a speech she gave when accepting it.
i just started watching a Canadian series: Heartland. It's about a horse ranch. I like it because it's a very calm, slow moving series...and I usually watch it before going to bed.
Gotta love horses though or you most likely won't enjoy it.
And, there's 9 seasons to go through!!!

No, haven't watched Big Little Lies and I enjoy watching Nicole Kidman.
I do love horse movies! My favorites are The Horse Whisperer (Robert Redford), Seabiscuit (that was excellent), and The Black Stallion (original).
